Ann Martorano, Administrator
Halifax Health Medical Center Port Orange


Ann Martorano is Administrator for Halifax Health Medical Center Port Orange. Martorano joined Halifax Health in 1985 as a public relations specialist and then served as director of administrative services and physician recruitment for 15 years.

From September 2000 - 2005, Martorano served as executive director of Volusia Health Network, a preferred provider physician network which is an affiliate of Halifax Health. In August 2005, Martorano was appointed administrator of Halifax Health Medical Center Port Orange, a new 80-bed acute care facility which opened in December, 2006.

Martorano is very involved in community volunteerism and is a past co-chair of Volusia/Flagler's Promise, the regional arm of America's Promise, a national program promoting volunteerism for and by youth. She is a past member of the Advisory Board of the Volunteer Center of the United Way of Volusia/Flagler, member of the Board of Directors of the United Way Women's Initiative, member of the Port Orange/South Daytona Chamber of Commerce, member of the Port Orange/South Daytona Rotary, member of The Checkered Flag Committee and sustaining member of the Junior League of Daytona Beach.

Martorano completed her undergraduate degree at Stetson University and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She holds a Master's degree in communications and a Master's degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Central Florida. She is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
